About the role
- Responsible for the Data Import Tool, the primary way clients and partners push data into Addepar via an import Excel add-in
- Support development and rollout of notifications workflow, file management center, and workflow control pane
- Assist lead product manager with researching, defining and scoping new functionality, including producing examples for developers
- Run last-resort support for import tool issues from go-to-market and support teams; update product content to prevent repeated issues
- Perform correctness testing on new import tool enhancements, including validation of import options and intersecting functionality
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience or relevant domain-specific experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills working with vendors, clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to partner with engineering to define the functional and technical implementation to solve a business problem. This includes understanding of high level data development concepts, and the ability to write and review technical requirements documents
- Proven ability to plan, design, and manage numerous projects simultaneously
- Track record of effective problem solving abilities, self-motivation to take on responsibility, and a strong team-player mentality
- Passion for the finance and technology space
- Experience working with financial data and concepts relevant to Addepar’s clients and products strongly preferred, but not required for consideration
