Account Operations Lead – West

Business Development Rep

• Directly generate IM sales revenue and new bookings.
• Own and manage a growing book of business.
• Drive prospecting, negotiating and closing FFS deals with existing and new customers.
• Manage contracts, contract negotiations (e.g., CDAs, MSAs, SOWs) with new and existing customers.
• Manage sales engagements and negotiations of agreements and statements of work.
• Partner with finance, legal and R&D to execute agreements.
• Develop and deepen relationships with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, academic institutions, CROs, and technology partners.

• Manage insurance follow-up queues to ensure timely and accurate responses to payer requests.

IT Support

• Partner with the various business units to identify current concerns and needs and potential solutions. Provides guidance and support on how best to implement the recommended solution based on best practice and current environment and team structure.
• Define current/future state architectures and long-term roadmaps aligned to business goals
• Model TCO, right-size capacity, and implement cost controls and FinOps practices
• Lead end-to-end design for initiatives (e.g., micro-segmentation, WAF/API gateway, observability, backup/DR etc.) leading to modernization of existing IT solutions
• Publish reference architectures, ADRs, guardrails, and golden paths, gap/drift analysis and deviation handling
• Partner with engineers to transition designs to build; validate via PoCs; de-risk with modeling phased rollouts
• Communicate alternatives, risks, and tradeoffs to execs and teams and influence decision-making

• Support two sales regions to ensure timely access to clonoSEQ ordering for providers and care teams

Engineer

• Own key business processes involved with IAM
• User Provisioning
• Role-based Access Control
• User access request and provisioning
• Automate IAM processes and tasks using standard tools and scripting languages
• Implement best practices for identity governance and administration
• Integrate identity systems with HR, Training, and Quality systems
• Manage onboarding and integration of new business systems

Identity & Access Management Engineer II

• Manage team responsible for prospecting and acquisition of new business with pharmaceutical and institutional customers
• Develop and refine BD strategy aligned to corporate objectives and long-term R&D investment priorities
• Proactively identify high value external innovation opportunities—including therapeutic assets, enabling platforms, technologies, and strategic collaborations
• Lead high stakes negotiations spanning in licensing, out licensing, research collaborations, co-development agreements, strategic alliances, joint ventures, and equity-linked structures
• Lead the team to engage in complex search and evaluation efforts and conduct thorough and informative competitive landscape and market analyses to provide actionable recommendations
• Drive delivery of new bookings and revenue from Pharma customers in line with the company’s corporate goals
• Structure, negotiate, and close significant and complex deals in line with the company's business development goals
• Represent Adaptive externally and deliver scientific presentations to identify opportunities
• Work cross-functionally to deliver transactions, execute and manage deal commitments
