About the role
- Responsible for oversight of Intake staff
- Works as a liaison between all departments within the region to improve processes and efficiencies
- Manages activities related to referral processing for all service lines
- Obtains applicable medical documentation, collects patient financial responsibility, and ensures accurate entry into relevant applications
- Ensures staff is appropriately trained to achieve departmental standards and goals
Requirements
- Associated degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Three (3) years’ work-related experience in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center or management regardless of industry required
- Two (2) years of HME claims experience is preferred
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel
