About the role

  • Responsible for oversight of Intake staff
  • Works as a liaison between all departments within the region to improve processes and efficiencies
  • Manages activities related to referral processing for all service lines
  • Obtains applicable medical documentation, collects patient financial responsibility, and ensures accurate entry into relevant applications
  • Ensures staff is appropriately trained to achieve departmental standards and goals

Requirements

  • Associated degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Three (3) years’ work-related experience in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center or management regardless of industry required
  • Two (2) years of HME claims experience is preferred
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel
