About the role
- Setup, configuration and operation of Microsoft Windows server operating systems within a VMware environment
- Integration, operation and development of network infrastructure
- Installation and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Servers
- Administration of the printing infrastructure
- Use and administration of Veeam
- Working with IBM iSeries
- Planning and implementation of system changes and support for company-wide IT projects
- Independent analysis and resolution of faults, and optimization of existing processes and IT infrastructure
- Coordination of external service providers
- Maintenance and expansion of system documentation
- Selection, procurement and configuration of hardware and software solutions
- Administration of the Active Directory environment and support of Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft software applications (MS 365)
- Driving optimization of an organization’s IT landscape
- Knowledge of archiving systems and financial accounting systems
Requirements
- Completed vocational training with an information technology background or a comparable qualification, plus initial professional experience
- Reliability, team spirit and an independent, analytical and methodical approach to work, combined with good communication skills and a service-oriented attitude
