About the role

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to characterize, measure, and monitor end-to-end service operations.
  • Perform proactive service maintenance, problem diagnosis, and incident management.
  • Lead incident resolution efforts and post-mortem analyses.
  • Design and implement monitoring and automation tools.
  • Adopt a systems-operations mindset focused on maintaining availability and managing disruptions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
  • Scripting skills with PowerShell or shell (e.g., Bash)
  • Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code systems such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Terraform
  • Experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, C++, or Go
  • Familiarity with monitoring systems such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Azure
  • Experience with web networking, TLS, reverse proxies, and load balancing
  • Extensive troubleshooting and security experience with Linux and Windows systems
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • A passion for solving complex problems and continuous improvement.
