About the role
- Analyze, prepare, and perform product tests following maintenance and/or improvement projects.
- Analyze technical documentation and product functional specifications.
- Define test plans: scenarios, test protocols, and appropriate measurement methodologies.
- Execute verification and validation tests to ensure product compliance.
- Collaborate with R&D, Hardware Design Life Cycle, production, and quality teams to define and execute required tests.
- Identify opportunities to improve test benches and associated procedures.
- Organize the transfer of test benches developed in R&D to the Product Life Cycle group.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (BAC+5) or equivalent in electronics, automation, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in an equivalent position.
- Knowledge of test systems and measurement tools, as well as testing techniques (test benches, automation, instrumentation).
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as LonWorks and BACnet, and their application in building control systems.
- Proficiency with IT tools and software used for test management (test benches, reporting and analysis software).
- Bilingual in French and English to support our clients and suppliers across Canada and the United States.
