About the role
- Manage the entire project management process within the Operations department, except for New Product Introductions (NPI), for which the Project Manager will specifically oversee the industrialization phase
- Define the project structure and objectives in coordination with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans and manage schedules, milestones, and costs
- Track task execution with operational teams (R&D, Quality, Production, etc.)
- Organize and lead governance forums: project reviews, follow-up meetings, coordination meetings
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and a positive, results-oriented working dynamic
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each project
- Manage scope changes, prioritize initiatives, and remove project obstacles
- Provide regular reports to the portfolio manager (progress, variances, risks, action plans)
- Document lessons learned at project close for knowledge sharing
- For NPI projects: ensure cross-functional coordination between R&D, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain
- Participate in design reviews and lead the transition to production (NPI)
- Ensure validation of tools, industrial methods, and processes
- Lead failure mode and effects analyses (FMEA) related to tooling and manufacturing processes
- Ensure process stabilization in production and across the supply chain, and compliance with quality requirements until transfer to mass production
Requirements
- University degree in engineering, project management, or a related field
- 5 to 7 years of project management experience, including significant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience managing multiple projects with cross-functional teams
- Strong skills in planning, coordination, tracking deliverables, and leading project teams
- Ability to influence and align stakeholders toward common objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
- Results- and quality-oriented mindset with the ability to deliver effectively
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Azure DevOps, or equivalent)
