About the role

  • You prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, perform analyses of revenue, margins, cost structures and profitability, and develop management dashboards and KPI systems.
  • You are responsible for budget planning, the forecasting process, preparing business cases and conducting profitability analyses.
  • You assume the technical and disciplinary leadership of the controlling team and ensure efficient collaboration and the professional development of team members.
  • You analyze product margins and contribution margins, manage marketing and promotion budgets, monitor pricing strategies and trade margins, and control supply chain, production and logistics costs.
  • You are responsible for the further development of controlling processes and reporting structures, as well as the optimization of ERP and BI systems.
  • You work very closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Executive Management, perform financial assessments of new products, markets and sales channels, and support investment decisions.

Requirements

  • You hold a degree in business administration and have several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in the FMCG sector.
  • You have prior experience as a team lead in a controlling environment.
  • Deep understanding of ERP systems (Infor advantageous) and very strong Excel skills.
  • You demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking, strong analytical skills, a structured way of working and a hands-on mentality.
  • You have fluent German and English skills.
