Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports for Group-wide and functional reporting.
Translate complex business requirements into clear analytical solutions and visual narratives.
Work closely with the Data Engineering team to consume, validate and optimise data from Microsoft Fabric.
Own Power BI data models, DAX calculations, semantic layers and performance optimisation.
Establish and enforce BI standards, best practices and governance across reporting outputs.
Migrate and redevelop existing excel and Tableau reporting in PBI.
Line manage, mentor and upskill two BI/Data Analysts, supporting both technical and analytical development.
Act as a trusted analytics partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight, challenge and recommendations.
Support and promote self-service analytics while maintaining data quality and consistency

Requirements

Proven experience in a Senior BI Analyst, Senior Analyst, or similar role.
Expert-level Power BI skills , including:
- Data modelling
- Advanced DAX
- Report performance optimisation
- UX-focused dashboard design
Strong data analysis and storytelling skills, with the ability to derive insight from complex datasets.
Experience working with centralised data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric , Azure, or equivalent.
Confident stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrable experience managing, mentoring or coaching analysts .
Strong SQL skills and understanding of data structures.
Desirable:
- Experience working within a central data or BI function.
- Knowledge of Fabric , Lakehouse architectures, or modern cloud data platforms.
- Familiarity with data governance, metrics standardisation and reporting frameworks.
- Experience enabling and supporting self-service BI.
- Exposure to Agile or product-led delivery models.
