About the role
- Responsible for the accounting and financial operations of the company, including the production of weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintenance of accounting records, and development of policies and procedures to facilitate all accounting-related functions.
- Ensure reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Oversee the flow of all financial information from the initial transaction through completed financial statements.
- Oversee core accounting operations and financial reporting while partnering with leadership to support a growing organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or an MBA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial management position, with a preference for experience in a privately held company.
- Experience in an HOA environment, standard costs, and basic variance analysis is strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent leadership, team building, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Must be well organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and possess a strong work ethic.
- Must have a high energy level and be a self-starter.
- High level of adaptability to pivot and meet changing priorities.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Technical savvy – interest in learning and implementing new technology.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
