Provide software development expertise and guidance for up to 7 software engineers of diverse backgrounds and skills
Support the professional development of direct reports (supportive feedback, goal-setting, regular check-ins, etc)
Work with engineers, Product Managers, and UX leads to formulate roadmaps
Drive essential and timely communication between teams
Ensure teams have the context and resources they need to achieve their goals
Collaborate with engineering leadership to cultivate a work environment where everyone can thrive
Improve engineering experience from local development to production to enable safe deployments with minimal friction
Requirements
A track record of success in inclusive management
A strong faculty for software engineering and technical considerations
Adept project-scoping, planning, and management
Motivation to see your teams and individuals on those teams succeed
A personal commitment to fostering psychologically safe environments for your teams
Expected to supervise, coach, and mentor 3+ direct reports
Availability during established, regular business hours (Mon-Fri)
Work with distributed teams across all U.S. time zones
