About the role

  • Define and execute the long-term strategy for the Backup & Disaster Recovery product portfolio, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Lead the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
  • Manage and mentor a dedicated team of product managers, fostering innovation and execution excellence.
  • Work closely with Engineering, UX, Sales, Marketing, and Support to deliver high-impact products.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to position our products effectively.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather insights and validate product direction.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to drive product launches, messaging, and adoption.
  • Define KPIs, track product performance, and iterate based on data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in Backup, Disaster Recovery, Data Protection, and related enterprise IT infrastructure domains.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, managing product managers or cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical understanding of backup solutions (on-prem, cloud, hybrid), disaster recovery architectures, ransomware protection, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and drive execution.
  • Knowledge of MSP business models and the automation of their processes in service delivery.
  • Additional knowledge of providers and B2B IT services is highly desirable.
  • Experience with planning, resourcing, budgeting, handling dependencies, long-term roadmaps, Agile environments, project management, and virtual teaming.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
