Operate the testing team under QA rules and **emphasize open communication with other teammates**.
**Develop and execute automated test cases at different levels of the testing pyramid using Java, JavaScript, or Typescript.**
Expand and maintain current automation frameworks and seek ways to enhance reliability, speed, and efficiency.
Monitor automated test results and address failures with the framework or code.
Work with engineers to clearly define test specifications and scenarios.
Actively contribute to new solutions for AWS testing (such as Lambdas, S3 Buckets, etc.).
Update the team and management on progress.
Advocate and promote quality assurance practices within a cross-functional team.
Be open to and unafraid of manual testing when required.
Requirements
Ability to solve complex challenges/problems and rapidly deliver innovative solutions
Familiarity with standard concepts and technologies used in web-based applications is required
**Experience leading Test automation projects**
Experience in UI test automation with **Playwright**, Cucumber, TypeScript
Experience with API,** RestAssured**, Junit, SpringBoot
Experience with using **Git, GitHub, and an IDE **for development work
Familiarity with clean code practices
Familiarity with **Docker **concepts
Familiarity with **CI/CD and DevOps **concepts, tools, and practices
Experience with **Cloud Technologies **is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in cross-functional **Agile engineering teams**
Demonstrated understanding that application quality and software testing is a team responsibility
**Nice to Have:**
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another related technical field with (3) years of experience.
Previous experience with GraphQL and/ or Snowflake.
