About the role
- Strengthening and improving manual testing processes from day one
- Assessing current QA and development practices to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas
- Providing strategic QA recommendations and designing tailored quality assurance strategies
- Leading the introduction of best practices to ensure long-term, sustainable QA processes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Extensive background in manual QA across various project types and domains
- Proven ability to conduct QA assessments, perform process audits, and identify improvement areas on both project and organizational levels
- Skilled in designing and implementing test strategies suited to specific project contexts and life cycles
- Experience in coordinating manual QA efforts within development teams for structured and efficient testing
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA’s function across methodologies such as Waterfall, Kanban, Scrum, and hybrid models
- Strong knowledge of functional testing techniques, along with a solid grasp of non-functional testing areas such as performance, usability, and security
- Expertise in managing defect lifecycles, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions
- Capable of defining, collecting, and tracking quality metrics to measure and communicate product health
- Continuously seeking ways to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness through process optimization
- Proficient in manual API testing using tools such as Swagger, Postman, or similar.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and ability to integrate QA tasks into pre-defined delivery workflows.
