Designs and implements customized sales strategies in conjunction with the Director of Sales aimed at key account segments
Works closely with the entire sales force on go-to-market strategies, competitive reconnaissance, successes, and challenges
Stays up-to-date and knowledgeable about operators in assigned account segments and acts as a resource and solution provider
Maintains in-depth knowledge of key local distributors to gain buy-in and support to stock and sell distributor products
Understands menu rotations, population and trends, desired cost structures, opportunities to penetrate or convert items, and training/education needs
Maintains an up-to-date profile folder of each customer and utilizes the CRM system weekly for call activity and customer profile management
Maintains and monitors stock status sheets of participating distributors and communicates changes in usage or distribution
Provides sales results and updates to manufacturers as needed
Maintains samples in assigned office and addresses client quality control issues, participating in visits with prepared itineraries
Can cook food products and assemble menu combinations to aid in the sale process

Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
Some College
15 years of experience with a food service brokerage agency foodservice operations management and/or national manufacturer calling on key regional accounts and/or operators
Previous supervisory experience preferable
Ability to execute and follow through a sales plan
