About the role

  • Be retailer experts and thoroughly execute client plans to grow client business within assigned retailers
  • Create and sustain client satisfaction by assisting in the development of business plans and owning clients’ execution strategies with assigned retailers
  • Drive client growth across brands through deep knowledge of retailer operations and merchandising strategies
  • Present targeted strategic client plans to build effective, efficient brand promotion strategies and strengthen brand activation
  • Execute strategic plans across sales, share, distribution, promotion, pricing, merchandising and financial management
  • Maintain ongoing Client Team communication to provide status, opportunities, manage expectations, and needs associated with achieving the Client’s business plan
  • Communicate and transfer customer changes and insights to relevant CROSSMARK positions
  • Consistently use CROSSVIEW as the business planning, communication and execution framework
  • Assist Business Account Managers in developing targeted strategic Client plans
  • Sell additional services to Clients through analysis of Client strategy and performance insights
  • Provide feedback and assist in preparation and presentation for CROSSVIEW Business Reviews
  • Work in both office and field environments and travel within the US as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the CPG industry preferred
  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • PC knowledge and skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel with pivot tables
  • Communication skills, including listening, presentations, written and verbal skills
  • Insights-based, consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Intermediate category management knowledge, including the “4 Ps”
  • Business acumen and knowledge of market and industry trends
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Customer service orientation and professionalism
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel within the US for customer, client or company meetings as needed
  • Ability to bring sample products to account calls
  • English required; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity
