• Strategic and operational management of the Regulatory Affairs & Laboratory Analytics department
• Responsibility for certifications, approvals, declarations of conformity and product safety
• Monitoring and implementation of new regulations, including adjustment of internal processes and documentation
• Technical leadership of the quality lab and laboratory analytics (e.g., titrimetry, IC, ICP-OES)
• Organization and execution of internal and external chemical analyses
• Handling customer inquiries on regulatory and analytical topics
• Maintenance, calibration and management of laboratory measuring equipment
• Clarification of legal questions regarding products in cooperation with specialist lawyers and testing institutes
• Project support and assistance to other departments (e.g., production, purchasing)
• Organization and execution of incoming goods inspections and in-process production tests
• Management of laboratory chemicals and laboratory supplies
• Preparation and review of test protocols and work instructions
• Analysis of competitor products and market monitoring
