About the role

  • Plan and implement effective quality assurance measures in series production and for new product development
  • Continuously improve the applied quality assurance systems and methods
  • Record and handle customer complaints and plan, initiate and implement effective corrective actions, including communication with the customer
  • Regularly evaluate quality-related inspection data and independently initiate effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Create and revise product-related specifications in coordination with customers and internal departments
  • Prepare and process first article inspection reports (FAI), including coordination with suppliers
  • Establish and further develop the QMS to improve inspection data capture
  • Independently lead quality projects

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in quality management / quality assurance or Industrial Engineering
  • Degree or higher vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field preferred
  • Extensive German skills at a minimum of C1 level
  • Good English skills at a minimum of B1 level
  • Experience with ERP systems and MS Office
  • Further training in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management (SCM), VKI or Import/Export (advantageous)
  • Professional experience in SCM or strategic purchasing (advantageous)
