About the role

  • Assist in the management of day-to-day activities related to recruiting, 1099 compliance, onboarding, pre and post hire activities, HR communication, social media, HR operations, SOCCII Compliance, administration, and other HR activities to support all Accuserve employees and divisions.
  • Collaborate to support full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interview coordination, and candidate follow-up.
  • Guide new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
  • Schedule phone screens and assist with hiring manager interviews.
  • Prepare and manage new hire orientation and post-hire administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records in the ATS.
  • Manage and maintain the 1099 contractor database, ensuring up-to-date records, certifications, and availability tracking.
  • Drive process improvements to streamline and enhance the contractor onboarding experience.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with hiring standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct weekly availability checks and capacity planning in coordination with business unit leaders.
  • Support SOC II and internal compliance efforts related to onboarding and offboarding, including background checks, drug screenings, and training verification.
  • Audit employee and contractor files to ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory adherence.
  • Oversee annual compliance rechecks such as background checks and MVRs.
  • Oversee offboarding tasks, ensuring timely and compliant exits and contractors.
  • Process and audit contractor and vendor invoices.
  • Maintain HR systems and databases with a high level of accuracy.
  • Support broader HR operations by managing files, assisting with employee communications, and contributing to ongoing process documentation.
  • Assist in developing and executing internal HR communications and social media content in partnership with Marketing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management or related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Previous experience with Paylocity ATS required.
  • Prior experience in facilitating and administering employee processes in an ATS and HCM system required.
  • Basic employment/HR law knowledge.
  • Previous experience with 1099 populations preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive in identifying problems and solutions, escalating appropriately.
  • Strong ability to maintain and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to handle interruptions and follow through to resolution in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to problem-solving and use critical thinking.
  • Excellent verbal, electronic, and written communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to utilize technology devices, software and application, previous experience with Microsoft Office Suites and basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to travel, up to 10% of the time.
