About the role
- Recruiting Support: Posting jobs, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and initiating background checks.
- Onboarding/Offboarding: Coordinating new hire orientations, creating employee files, and processing termination paperwork.
- HRIS and Record Maintenance: Updating employee data, ensuring confidentiality, and maintaining accurate, compliant digital employee files.
- Benefits Support: Conduct new hire benefits meetings, benefit enrollment, QLE changes, and reconciling benefit invoices.
- Employee Relations: Serving as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensuring I-9 compliance and staying updated on local/federal labor laws.
- Assist with performance review process.
- Participate in HR projects, initiatives, and events as needed.
- Ability to establish trusting relationships with employees and company leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong HR experience with end-to-end HR administrative execution; 3+ years of HR experience required.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proven, hands-on experience with HRIS Systems.
- Benefits administration experience including vendor partnership and employee support.
- Experience managing leaves of absence and coordinating with third-party administrators.
- Excel v-lookups and pivot tables a plus.
