About the role
- Source, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across target industries or agencies
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, decision-makers, and use cases
- Manage outbound outreach campaigns and follow-up on inbound leads
- Schedule and facilitate discovery calls, demos, and meetings for senior sales or leadership
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and report on pipeline activity and lead conversion
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align messaging and customer engagement
- Support proposal development, RFP responses, and contracting processes as needed
- Represent Accrete at conferences, events, and networking opportunities to generate awareness and leads
- Continuously refine prospecting strategies based on market feedback and performance
Requirements
- 3–6+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
- Experience in Federal Law Enforcement sales
- Experience selling or supporting complex software solutions (AI/ML experience is a plus)
- Proven ability to meet or exceed lead generation and sales pipeline goals
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Business or 4 years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Experience working with federal customers or understanding of public sector procurement (a plus but not required)
