About the role
- Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation for employees.
- Helps develop and improve systems and processes within HC function.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HC team members to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Participates in meetings with respective programs and departments as needed.
- Assist in delivery and success of talent acquisition process.
- Help facilitate and further develop new hire orientation and overall new employee onboarding experience.
- Must demonstrate a high level of integrity/trust, the ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information, and the ability to serve as a positive role model for other employees.
- Be an Accord brand ambassador with all external contacts.
- Must be willing to travel locally for work with limited overnight travel possible.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree Human Resources Management, or a related field. Alternatively 5-7 years of Human Resources experience in lieu of education.
- Minimum of three years of human resources experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
