About the role
- Act as a supporting role to the Senior Pricing Analyst
- Work with Sales teams, Bid/Contract teams, Administration and Management to formulate pricing responses
- Analyze various price requests from the field and make recommendations to management
- Support maintaining all existing contract pricing
- Carry out routine and semi-routine tasks including reporting functions, database maintenance, and PowerPoint presentations
- Ensure pricing issues are handled in a timely and efficient manner
- Analyze price requests in various profit scenarios
- Maintain product knowledge to ensure correct products are offered
- Consult with Canon USA’s Sales organization to ensure competitiveness and acquire additional sales
- Understand Canon’s various pricing and promotions and program terms and guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required
- 0 to 2 years of related experience
- Heavy MS Excel skills required such as Pivot Table, VLOOKUP
- Knowledge of formulas and other advanced Excel functions
- Analytics experience is required
- Beginner to intermediate analytical skills
- Ability to multi task
- Attention to detail
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Relationship building abilities
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
