About the role

Manages overall RFP activities, from initial receipt to final submission to the client, to ensure on-time submission
Coordinates the contributions of team members to develop high quality, compliant responses to the RFP in proposal format that put Abzena in the best position to win
Leads team alignment calls and strategy discussions to clarify scope of work, gain insights into the business opportunity, and understand key messages
Provides regular reporting and maintains ongoing communications to senior management
Communicates progress, facilitate decision-making, and resolve open decisions, issues, and risks pertaining to RFP responses
Defines, documents, implements, and continually improves routine, repeatable, and measurable proposal development processes and tools
Communicates effectively with clients, management, colleagues and staff

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
Minimum of 5 years of proposal management experience is required
Experience working in a pharmaceutical or CDMO field is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, SalesForce and Adobe Professional, MS Project and Smartsheet
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent command of the English language
Strong attention to detail
Ability to balance multiple priorities and to work under tight deadlines while providing consistent and professional service
