Join Abbott’s Information Governance and Records (IGR) group reporting to Senior Counsel, Information Governance and interact with Legal, Business & Technology Services (BTS), and other business groups.
Support strategic programs and projects including coordinating Legal activities for implementation of M365 sensitivity labels across the enterprise and auto-deletion of stale unstructured data.
Support review and remediation of legacy data and implementation of defensible deletion and records management processes.
Develop requirements, investigate vendors, and implement projects to identify, test, and introduce information governance technology solutions.
Work closely with Abbott IT to improve business-facing IT processes relating to data management and remediation.
Provide functional expertise for Information Governance and Records systems, including establishing and maintaining system-specific documentation and operational procedures and helping manage Abbott’s Records and Information Management System (RIMS).
Provide support with the Information Governance and Records team’s ticketing system, ensuring queries are resolved or escalated in a timely manner.
Requirements
BA/BS in Information Systems or Business Administration or BA/BS in another discipline with equivalent experience.
7 years of experience in systems analyst or project management roles including enterprise systems and system lifecycles, databases (including experience with SQL programming languages), web and client server architecture, infrastructure, networks, and other technical domains.
3 years of experience working in an IT organization within a regulated industry and/or compliance role, ideally including experience as an auditor.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft O365 (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, macros).
Strong attention to detail and documentation.
Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge of processes, frameworks, and technologies.
Working knowledge of Quality System validation requirements for technology projects preferred.
Strong time management, organizational and priority setting skills.
Ability to adapt readily to change and work across multiple areas.
Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment.
Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
