About the role
- Serve as a trusted advisor to established customers to foster loyalty and achieve retention targets
- Enhance customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and regular business reviews
- Collaborate with Enterprise Account Managers to secure early renewals and mitigate competitive threats
- Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on value expansion and profitability
- Identify and implement operational and service improvements to drive customer success
- Influence purchasing decisions and optimize reagent utilization
- Perform assay integrations and address laboratory technical needs
- Support new account implementations including ordering, installation, and validation
- Coordinate order, delivery, and billing processes to ensure operational efficiency
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Technical Service, and Finance to deliver cohesive customer experiences
- Escalate and resolve customer challenges with the service organization
- Contribute to quality effectiveness through accurate documentation of complaints and resolutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s degree with equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in sales or clinical laboratory operations
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Travel expectation: Yes, 50% of the time
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or Medical Technology and/or healthcare-related field
- Preferred: Proven track record in sales, field service, or within a technical call center
- Preferred: Financial acumen and ability to analyze financial data in the healthcare market
- Preferred: Deep understanding of laboratory instrumentation, workflows, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to perform continuous standing and walking for prolonged periods and to drive a personal auto or company vehicle
