About the role
- Prospect, configure, negotiate and execute service contracts for the capital technologies portfolio
- Act as central point of contact for service contract sales in assigned territories and partner with US Sales Representatives
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and purchasing agents within assigned hospitals and systems
- Work through established contact lists to contact customers regarding new contracts, renewals, and lapsed contracts
- Liaise regularly with internal groups (Sales, Finance, Marketing, Contracts, Legal, Contract Operations) to compose proposals and executable contracts
- Prepare and deliver service proposals, quotations and contracts from approved templates and support intake of customer-prepared agreements
- Negotiate terms and edit documents in accordance with approved company service levels
- Perform document analysis and complete written responses to product/service questionnaires, RFPs and related commercial agreements
- Direct processes for contract origination and analyze and develop service contract renewals
- Follow management-approved processes and alert management when deviations are required
- Remain current on market and competitive landscape by attending industry events and maintaining approved memberships
Requirements
- 4 year college degree
- Minimum 2 years of sales or business administrative experience, preferably with general experience working with contracts
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (all modules)
- Demonstrated organizational skills; detail oriented; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to listen, resolve moderately complex problems, deal with unresolved issues, delays and unexpected events
- Strong analytical ability, originality and ingenuity
- Ability to enter and retrieve data quickly and extract data from multiple information systems on an ad-hoc basis
- Preferred: Experience in healthcare industry or service contract sales
- Preferred: Experience with direct quota attainment and performance metrics
- Preferred: Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model
- Preferred: Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems
