About the role
- Grow markets and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify and prioritize regional opportunities, building strong stakeholder relationships across healthcare settings.
- Manage and expand a portfolio of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and proactive problem resolution.
- Represent Abbott at congresses, presentations, and customer meetings.
- Monitor competition, identify new business opportunities, and report insights to management.
- Uphold and enhance Abbott’s image in the territory.
- Drive long‑term strategic partnerships across primary and secondary care.
Requirements
- Technical/scientific background (biochemistry, biotechnology, immunology, hematology, etc.)
- Experience in medical laboratories or hospital environments.
- Proven sales success in healthcare or biomedical sectors.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
