About the role

  • Grow markets and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and prioritize regional opportunities, building strong stakeholder relationships across healthcare settings.
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and proactive problem resolution.
  • Represent Abbott at congresses, presentations, and customer meetings.
  • Monitor competition, identify new business opportunities, and report insights to management.
  • Uphold and enhance Abbott’s image in the territory.
  • Drive long‑term strategic partnerships across primary and secondary care.

Requirements

  • Technical/scientific background (biochemistry, biotechnology, immunology, hematology, etc.)
  • Experience in medical laboratories or hospital environments.
  • Proven sales success in healthcare or biomedical sectors.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
