About the role
- Responsible for sales targets in the territory, including forecasting, sales planning and target achievement
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue in existing and new accounts
- Build, maintain and expand customer relationships — including executive-level contacts and key opinion leaders
- Present innovative solutions to improve customer outcomes
- Contract management, negotiations and strategic account development
- Effective pricing and proposal preparation, taking market and competitor data into account
- Participate in trade shows and congresses for networking and market monitoring
- Use and maintain the CRM database to ensure accurate analyses and forecasts
Requirements
- University or bachelor’s degree in a natural science, medicine or business, or equivalent experience; master’s degree preferred
- Professional experience in medical sales, ideally with medical devices or in vitro diagnostics
- Extensive experience in contract management and contract negotiations
- Experience using CRM databases
- Ability to work with MS Office and in virtual environments (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% within the assigned territory
- Fluent German and English (business/professional level)
