About the role

  • Responsible for sales targets in the territory, including forecasting, sales planning and target achievement
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue in existing and new accounts
  • Build, maintain and expand customer relationships — including executive-level contacts and key opinion leaders
  • Present innovative solutions to improve customer outcomes
  • Contract management, negotiations and strategic account development
  • Effective pricing and proposal preparation, taking market and competitor data into account
  • Participate in trade shows and congresses for networking and market monitoring
  • Use and maintain the CRM database to ensure accurate analyses and forecasts

Requirements

  • University or bachelor’s degree in a natural science, medicine or business, or equivalent experience; master’s degree preferred
  • Professional experience in medical sales, ideally with medical devices or in vitro diagnostics
  • Extensive experience in contract management and contract negotiations
  • Experience using CRM databases
  • Ability to work with MS Office and in virtual environments (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60% within the assigned territory
  • Fluent German and English (business/professional level)
