About the role
- Serve as the subject matter expert for cloud cost optimization across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Lead Cloud Business Reviews with technical and business stakeholders to identify and execute cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and maintain a self-service cloud cost reporting platform with near real-time insights
- Drive adoption of the FOCUS (FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification) reporting standard
- Partner with automation teams to design and maintain Microsoft Fabric-based analytics solutions
- Monitor vendor roadmaps and FinOps best practices to ensure continuous improvement
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or management discipline (preferred)
- 5+ years of IT experience with expertise in cloud cost and billing for AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Strong technical knowledge of cloud billing tools and optimization strategies (e.g., Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, CUDs)
- Proficiency in Power BI and experience with data modeling for reporting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present to executive leadership
