About the role
- Provide sales team with leadership, direction and resources to ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Liaise with marketing personnel to ensure short and long-term sales strategies are implemented.
- Control Area expense budgets.
- Facilitate goal setting process in line with Corporate and Marketing Department goals.
- Select, interview and recruit new team members for the sales team.
- Provide in-field coaching and follow-up training.
- Conduct sales meetings to monitor progress and provide training.
- Maintain contact with key accounts and identify corporate marketing opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements and serve as a role model to all employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Pharmaceutical Science/Human or Vet Medicine/General Science.
- Minimum 5 years at Abbott as a Medical Representative with an AE overall achievement (or above) in 2023/2024/2025.
- Achieving 2025 KPIs, and 2025 sales achievement of 95% (or more).
- Strong sales record.
- Computer skills in power point and Excel is a must.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation & selling skills.
- Good command of English language.
