About the role

  • Act as in-house legal counsel to Abaxx Exchange
  • Provide legal support on product development, commercial programs, delivery under contracts
  • Play an active role in the dynamic team
  • Provide strategic input and leadership as the company grows
  • Manage product development from initiation through to launch
  • Support the Commercial team in developing legal documentation
  • Assist the General Counsel in legal strategic planning and implementation of business plans

Requirements

  • At least 4-6 years of prior work experience in a reputable law firm, company or financial institution, preferably in the commodities trading industry, and/or exchanges and clearing house space.
  • Experience in capital markets, general corporate, or financial markets are also welcomed.
  • Ability to work well in cross-functional teams, possesses strong communication skills and is able develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and keen to be part of the pioneer team in developing an exchange and clearing house led by a team of industry leaders.
  • Detailed, hard working and solutions-orientated.
  • Law degree from a reputable institution.
