• Serve at the core of the exchange and clearing business by ensuring seamless execution, stability, and integrity across all operational processes to deliver the organization’s objectives and operational outcomes effectively.
• Gain hands-on experience in executing and meticulously monitoring trade, clearing and settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop a comprehensive grasp of Exchange and Clearing Rules and Procedures. Play an active role in upholding compliance with exchange and clearing regulations.
• Utilize your keen analytical skills and financial acumen to support the evaluation of trading activities, market trends to facilitate the generation of informed reports.
• Engage closely with diverse teams and external partners to ensure the harmonious functioning of exchange and clearing operations.
• Develop a thorough understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and ensure consistent adherence to established workflows and controls.
• Uphold accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in all operational and regulatory reporting processes.

• Assist and interact with market participants, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues.
• This role requires working on a rotating shift schedule to maintain consistent coverage and support for 22/5 exchange and clearing operations. Shift allowance will be provided for eligible shift duties.

Exchange and Clearing Operations Analyst

Manager

• Act as the primary relationship manager for designated Market Maker and Liquidity Development participants
• Build trusted, long-term partnerships with trading firms, proprietary trading houses, banks, and specialist market makers
• Gain a thorough understanding of Abaxx Market Development Program structure, client trading strategies, risk appetites, operational requirements, including infrastructure set up
• Work closely with Product Leads, CMO and Legal to launch new programs and revise existing programs to continuously deepen market liquidity while meeting budget constraints and business objectives
• Manage the rollout of any new program revisions
• Monitor market maker performance against program requirements
• Actively seek market feedback to optimize participation
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to temporarily adjust program parameters
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any client issues
• Develop a deep understanding of all product contract chapters, exchange and clearing rules, order types, matching logic, and risk framework and settlement cycles
• Provide feedback to internal teams on market structure, contract design, and incentive effectiveness
• Identify opportunities to expand market maker participation across additional products or markets
• Support new product launches by securing and onboarding market development participants
• Coordinate onboarding, certification, and technical readiness with Market Regulation, Legal, Market Operations, Technology for market development participants

Market Development Manager, Relationships

Sales

• Drive client acquisition, trading volumes, and revenue growth for the exchange’s gold futures and precious metals derivatives franchise
• Support business development across the physical precious metals Spot ecosystem
• Focus on international institutional, corporate, and trading clients active in gold production, refining, and trading

• Focus on corporate clients including trading houses, banks, brokers, producers and OTC transitional clients.
• Analyse client activity, market share, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
• Understand client hedging, trading, and investment needs and propose solutions using listed derivatives.
• Collect and distribute feedback internally via HubSpot platform and present regular business updates to management.
• Ongoing relationship management and education to clients on Abaxx pricing and solutions, leading to transactional revenue on derivatives adoption.

• Execute a focused sales strategy for institutional trading firms to grow trading volumes and open interest in listed commodity derivatives in a target driven environment.
• Identify, onboard, and maintain strong relationships with cross segment Indian firms trading from Singapore, India and Dubai.
• Conduct client visits, roadshows, and product workshops as required.
• Analyse client activity, market share, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.

Cross Derivatives Exchange Product Sales Lead – FCM Focus

• Execute a focused sales strategy for China related business to grow trading volumes and open interest in listed commodity derivatives in a target driven environment.
• Identify, onboard, and maintain strong relationships with cross segment International Chinese firms and cross border opportunities.
• Conduct client visits, roadshows, and product workshops across key Chinese commodity hubs as required.
• Understand local clients’ hedging, basis risk, and international price discovery needs; structure solutions using offshore/onshore listed derivatives.
• Educate clients on cross border market access channels, trading and clearing arrangements, and the use of offshore contracts to complement onshore risk management.
• Support marketing campaigns in Mandarin and English (webinars, seminars, conferences, industry associations) to raise the profile of the exchange’s commodity franchise in China.
• Work closely with Onboarding teams to ensure a seamless client experience from onboarding through live trading.
• Analyse client activity, market share, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.

Business Analyst

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for execution and ongoing optimization while creating functional output for business analyses.
• Lead and Define data models, schemas, data quality rules and various collection sources in collaboration with engineering teams and development cycles.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual or, if required, semi-manual operational workflows.

Data Analyst

• Perform data analysis to support reporting, operational insights, and decision-making via dashboard and visual presentations to various internal stakeholders.
• Support automated data collection from internal systems and external data sources whilst keeping a mindset of continued data optimization and reducing manual processes.
• Build and analyse bespoke data sets alongside the product development team and take part in project related analyses with the business development and strategy functions.
• Assist in gathering and documenting business and data requirements under the guidance of senior stakeholders.

Business Intelligence, Data Analyst – Graduate

Project Manager

• Develop, track, and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for multiple concurrent projects across streams.
• Coordinate and streamline collaboration between internal departments (Technology, Product, Operations, Regulatory Compliance, Legal, etc.).
• Ensure alignment between project requirements, resources, and deliverables.
• Responsible for planning, executing and monitoring projects.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Abaxx Exchange and external vendors, system integrators, and technology partners.
• Manage vendor performance, deliverable quality, SLAs, and contractual obligations.
• Lead discussions, negotiations, and escalation processes to resolve scope, timelines, technical challenges, or operational issues.
• Develop UAT strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with Product and Technology teams.

Analyst

• Conduct ongoing research into global commodity markets, with focus on Precious Metals, Battery Materials, LNG, Power and environmental products.
• Research physical and Listed/OTC derivatives markets with focus on supply-demand fundamentals, seasonality, and macroeconomic drivers to offer product development opportunities and empower the commercial team.
• Monitor competitive exchange offerings and global market developments to identify product gaps and innovation opportunities.
• Engage with market participants across client segments to gather market feedback and insights.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contract specifications, including delivery terms, settlement methodology, contract size, tick value, and expiry structure with full trade life cycle perspective.
• Contribute to market supervisory activities in coordination with risk and regulatory teams.
• Support the development of analytical reports, market commentary, and internal dashboards for product, sales, and strategy teams with the potential for external client and/or event presentations, if desired.
