About the role
- Execute a sales strategy to grow trading volumes and open interest in listed commodity derivatives whilst being knowledgeable of environmental and energy transition markets.
- Drive client acquisition and revenue growth by promoting exchange-listed derivatives products
- Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with key client segments.
- Analyse client activity, market share, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Understand client hedging, trading, and investment needs and propose solutions using listed derivatives.
- Collect and distribute feedback internally via internal CRM (Hubspot) platform and presentation regular business updates to management while supporting regional SMEs related to the Abaxx business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field; a master’s degree or professional designation (e.g., CFA, FRM, CAIA) is an advantage.
- Typically, 5–8 years of experience in sales, business development, or client coverage within commodities, derivatives, or financial markets
- Strong understanding of Strong understanding of exchange-traded derivatives and commodities markets with emphasis on environmental and energy transition markets.
- Demonstrated track record of building and managing institutional and corporate client relationships and meeting or exceeding commercial targets.
- Existing industry relationships and network are a strong advantage
