About the role

  • Lead the end-to-end media strategy for paid social and video, building a best-in-class internal operation.
  • Manage and scale Paid Social and Video campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and YouTube - balances awareness and conversion formats to drive higher ROI and brand equity.
  • Own the budget & investment strategy, making data-backed decisions on where to scale spend and pull back for efficiency.
  • Execute a robust performance creative strategy, partnering with internal and external Brand and Creative teams to produce platform-specific assets and leverage creator, influencer and user-generated content (UGC).
  • Drive YouTube Brand activity, leveraging video formats to build long-term brand health alongside immediate performance goals.
  • Analyse in-depth full funnel performance using a mix of platform data and broader measurement frameworks (like Brand Lift or MMM) to provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Explore and implement innovative strategies, such as advanced audience expansion, value-based bidding, and creative automation.
  • Own the experimentation roadmap, developing hypotheses for A/B creative and audience tests and sharing those learnings across the business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics, Creative, and Product teams to align social strategy with wider business goals and technical tracking requirements.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on platform features and shifting behaviors to proactively test new growth strategies.

Requirements

  • Media planning specialist: Proven ability to build a media plan from scratch, understanding how to sequence awareness-led video with conversion-led social to drive a customer through the funnel.
  • Solid experience in paid social (specifically Meta and TikTok), with a proven track record of scaling volumes within agreed efficiency thresholds.
  • Budget management: Proven experience managing and scaling large, high-growth budgets (6-7 figures monthly) while maintaining strict performance efficiency.
  • Strong background in video marketing, with experience activating and measuring YouTube Brand or performance campaigns.
  • Proven experience in measuring brand-led social through methodologies like Brand Lift surveys or working with analytics teams on Media Mix Modelling.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights using Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualisation tools.
  • Creative-first mindset, with an understanding of what drives engagement on social platforms and how to brief for high-performing video content.
  • Collaborative mindset: A proactive individual contributor who enjoys working in a partnership with Brand and Creative teams to ensure their creative vision is backed by the best media strategy possible.
  • Strong technical understanding of tracking, tagging (Pixels, CAPI), and cross-platform measurement.
  • A strong communicator capable of managing relationships with platform partners and internal stakeholders alike.
  • Experience in a fast-paced growth company - you are a proactive self-starter who takes ownership and can pivot quickly based on performance data.
