About the role
- Responsible for monthly and annual closing routines;
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts;
- Manage the complete fixed assets cycle (acquisitions, disposals, transfers, issuance of invoices, and fixed asset movement records);
- Analyze monthly and annual balance sheets and trial balances;
- Account for and reconcile payroll;
- Account for and reconcile public funds;
- Support internal and external audits;
- Classify and reclassify accounting accounts;
- Assist other departments with accounting entries as needed;
- Provide support to other areas regarding the correct accounting treatment of transactions/events;
- Prepare and execute tax/accounting obligations, including ECD and ECF;
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Active CRC registration (Brazilian Board of Accountancy) and experience with integrated ERP systems (required)
- Advanced MS Office skills and up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and CPCs (Brazilian Accounting Pronouncements) (required)
- Availability to work 08:00–18:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00–17:00 on Friday.
