About the role
- Leads and develops a team of seven sourcing professionals
- Drives category strategies across the full vendor lifecycle in partnership with senior leadership
- Responsible for building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring high-quality and timely sourcing support
- Oversees intake, triage, savings, sourcing pipeline, and diversity and sustainability initiatives
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant procurement, consultation, and sourcing experience
- Bachelor’s degree or 10 years equivalent business experience
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, project management, problem solving, and leadership skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and applicable business software
- Understands, drafts, and negotiates contracts at nearly any/all levels of complexity and/or dollar thresholds
- Knowledgeable and able to apply best practice methods, strategies, and operational options
- Above average knowledge and understanding of industry contracting methods, operational norms, supplier demands, and market trends
