About the role

  • Work with a small team to develop relevant websites, apps, and research that will highlight areas of strength and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Provide real-world payroll processing experience within a controlled environment
  • Develop understanding of payroll compliance, controls, and financial impact
  • Build analytical capability through structured process improvement work
  • Create a lasting operational artifact that improves payroll efficiency

Requirements

  • At least a junior, fully enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college/university, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Studying a field related to Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, etc.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills (oral and written), organizational skills, and strong situational adaptability
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and diligent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks to ensure timely solutions to problems that meet business line goals
  • Experience with PC software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
  • Basic math calculations to accurately perform various types of transactions
  • Intermediate data analysis using Excel
