About the role
- Work with a small team to develop relevant websites, apps, and research that will highlight areas of strength and identify opportunities for optimization
- Provide real-world payroll processing experience within a controlled environment
- Develop understanding of payroll compliance, controls, and financial impact
- Build analytical capability through structured process improvement work
- Create a lasting operational artifact that improves payroll efficiency
Requirements
- At least a junior, fully enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college/university, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Studying a field related to Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, etc.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills (oral and written), organizational skills, and strong situational adaptability
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and diligent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks to ensure timely solutions to problems that meet business line goals
- Experience with PC software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
- Basic math calculations to accurately perform various types of transactions
- Intermediate data analysis using Excel
