About the role
- Oversees and manages Territory Managers, handling their hiring, training, and performance reviews
- Extensive travel to coach salespeople, meet key customers and end users, attend trade shows, and promote products
- Set sales quotas and establish pricing
- Launch new products and research market trends
- Track competitors and coordinate events with customers and TM’s
- Communicate regional updates to company leadership & management
- Meet regularly with key prospective and current customers to strengthen relationships and drive sales growth
- Support sales activities in the field
- Supervise and provide guidance to Territory Managers
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
- Develop and implement territorial and regional pricing strategies
- Prepare regional board reports for the Vice President of Sales quarterly
- Review and approve all VIP Tour visits with Territory Managers
- Monitor and document competitors' actions and market activities
- Establish and manage sales quotas to achieve regional sales objectives
- Collaborate with vendors on purchasing and selling agreements
- Host quarterly Regional Meetings with Territory Managers
Requirements
- Familiarity with CRM and Power BI is preferred
- Candidates must be aggressive self-starters who can work independently
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Extensive overnight travel is required
- A four-year degree in business or a related field
- Two to four years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
