Store Manager

Merchandiser

• Market expert – knows customer, competition and market trends across Junior’s apparel categories in both full price and value channels
• Create seasonal SKU plans for owned categories that align with the channel’s financial goals
• Assort and influence category assortments by analyzing buy history, product performance, consumer trend and competitive landscape
• Partner with cross-functional team on day-to-day deliverables
• Participate in milestone meetings; recap and prioritize action items from meetings and follow up as needed
• Anticipate department needs for upcoming deliverables and maintain all calendar deadlines
• Deliver compelling and strategic seasonal assortment presentations to Sales team
• Manage key post-market milestones to ensure all orders are captured and processed seamlessly and on time
• Manage sample process; ensure samples are organized and categorized appropriately
• Use day-to-day learnings to create solutions and adjust strategies as business needs change
• Understand the different roles of the cross-functional team and how they relate to the Merchandising role, and foster relationships to efficiently drive collaboration

Designer

• Support the Design team in the development and execution of the seasonal denim line.
• Research relevant trends and collaborate closely with Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design.
• Prepare for all milestone meetings.
• Create detailed sketches and represent wash standards for the denim assortment.
• Build and update tech packs, including sketches, garment and fabric construction details, hardware, and trims.
• Manage trim development & approvals.
• Stay informed on current selling performance, market trends, and industry conditions.
• Conduct competitive research and monitor social platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram).

Marketing

• Own the end-to-end sample process for all photoshoots across Lucky Brand and Aéropostale, from initial sample receipt through on-set execution and final returns.
• Partner with Merchandising to identify and compile styles for laydowns, pinups, and campaign shoots, ensuring alignment with seasonal and business priorities.
• Lead all sample logistics, including shipment coordination (messenger, UPS, etc.), on-set tracking, and timely returns to merchandising teams or licensees.
• Coordinate with licensee partners to secure non-core product, including accessories and footwear.
• Collaborate closely with stylists during style-outs to ensure priority styles are featured and accurately represented.
• Conduct pre-styleout reviews with merchant teams to validate sample quality, fit, and color accuracy.
• Develop and distribute detailed shot lists for all Lucky Brand and Aéropostale shoots.
• Create and distribute post-shoot asset “cheat sheets” outlining imagery details, item numbers, and delivery timelines for wholesale and creative teams.
• Manage organization, naming conventions, and archival of final campaign assets on shared drives.
• Own asset delivery workflows with Authentic Brands Group and external partners, ensuring timely feedback, approvals, and final delivery.
• Oversee end-to-end project management for marketing campaigns across multiple channels and touchpoints.
• Ensure on-time delivery of assets from internal creative teams and external partners.
• Partner cross-functionally with Social, E-commerce, Print & Production, and Creative teams through weekly meetings to ensure clear briefing and execution of signage, site updates, and social content.
• Contribute to and maintain marketing calendars to support campaign planning, visibility, and execution.
• Manage influencer product seeding programs, including gifting for content creation and post-delivery follow-up to secure deliverables.
• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact between the manager and director of collaborations & licensing, internal creative teams, and external collaborators.
• Manage the collection of logos and assets and oversee approvals for media alerts, campaign launches, and copy.
• Ensure seamless execution and alignment across all collaboration launch moments.
• Support the brand’s partnership with Oceana by managing monthly philanthropic invoice processing and coordination.
• Contribute to the development and execution of brand marketing plans, including annual, seasonal, and campaign-specific initiatives such as Guns N’ Roses, Modelo, and Grateful Dead partnerships.
