Data Engineer

• Define and evolve the technical vision and roadmap for APFM's Databricks platform and broader data ecosystem.
• Drive the evolution of APFM's federated data operating model, balancing domain ownership with enterprise governance and standards.
• Partner with Analytics Engineering and business stakeholders to evolve the semantic layer, ensuring business definitions, metrics, and dimensions remain consistent, discoverable, and trusted.
• Establish standards for metadata management, lineage, discoverability, stewardship, and data quality across the organization.
• Drive development of reusable data products and shared platform capabilities that enable self-service analytics at scale.
• Lead adoption and governance of Databricks capabilities including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, AI/BI Genie, MLflow, Vector Search, and related platform services.

• Apply a structured follow-up cadence to maintain engagement and prevent pipeline stagnation.

• Own end-to-end product design for Consumer workstreams, from discovery and journey mapping through prototypes and production-ready design, including the unified family experience across APFM.com, AgingCare, Care Hub, advisor-connected workflows, and emerging AI-enabled channels.
• Translate emotionally complex, information-heavy senior care decisions into intuitive workflows that help families move forward with confidence.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, Analytics, Operations, Sales, and business leaders to define problem framing, success criteria, tradeoffs, and release scope.
• Design for trust, clarity, accessibility, speed, and usability across moments where families need accurate information and confident next steps.
• Use research, analytics, care-seeker conversations, marketing insights, funnel data, frontline team input, product data, and business context to guide design decisions.
• Identify high-leverage opportunities where better consumer experiences can improve family outcomes, provider outcomes, and business performance.
• Communicate design rationale clearly to product teams, engineering partners, marketing partners, operational stakeholders, and senior leaders.

Lead Product Designer, Family Experience

User Researcher

• Independently own generative and evaluative research across Consumer and Provider experiences, helping teams understand APFM's two core customers: families navigating care decisions and providers growing their businesses while delivering care.
• Shape and maintain a practical research plan tied to product strategy, design priorities, marketplace questions, and leadership decisions.
• Plan and run interviews, usability studies, concept tests, journey research, surveys, diary or longitudinal studies when appropriate, and lightweight mixed-method studies.
• Help teams understand families navigating senior care decisions and providers managing lead quality, engagement, and conversion.
• Synthesize findings into crisp, decision-oriented artifacts that influence roadmap, product and user experience direction, service design, and product strategy, connecting research to the broader care placement journey where family needs, provider needs, advisor workflows, AI capabilities, and business outcomes intersect.
• Partner with Product, Design, Analytics, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and customer-facing teams to connect qualitative insight with behavioral, funnel, marketplace, and business data.
• Identify cross-squad patterns, unmet needs, trust gaps, high-risk assumptions, and experience risks before they become delivery problems.
• Facilitate conversations that help teams align on what we know, what we need to learn, and what decisions should change.
• Contribute to repeatable research practices so teams can learn faster without lowering the quality bar.
• Use and improve lightweight rituals, templates, participant pipelines, and insight repositories that make Consumer and Provider insight easier to reuse.

• Design for trust, clarity, speed, and usability in workflows where users need accurate information and confident next steps.
• Use research, analytics, provider conversations, partner feedback, frontline team input, product data, and business context to guide design decisions.
• Identify high-leverage opportunities where better provider workflows can improve customer outcomes and business performance.
• Communicate design rationale clearly to product teams, engineering partners, marketing partners, operational stakeholders, and senior leaders.

• Lead, manage, and develop a high performing, results-driven sales team via recruitment, training, coaching, and motivating
• Provide strong, dynamic leadership that mentors, develops, and guides team members to efficiently grow each account and drive the most referrals, move-ins, and new clients to our community and agency customers
• Train, mentor and manage team on how to support families being discharged by understanding each family’s unique needs and working with Senior Living Advisors to refer to the appropriate providers
