About the role

  • Own all commercial and sales activity across the UK & Ireland, delivering sustainable growth across volume, revenue, and profitability.
  • Define and execute an integrated, data-led sales strategy with full P&L ownership, strong execution discipline, and clear performance governance.
  • Build senior, trusted customer relationships through consultative, value-based selling.
  • Use market and customer insight to shape differentiated propositions, improve customer experience, and represent Maersk in complex negotiations.
  • Anticipate industry, regulatory, and geopolitical shifts to guide strategy and influence product and solution priorities.
  • Partner effectively with regional and global stakeholders across a complex matrix organisation.
  • Build and develop a high-performing, future-ready sales organisation through coaching, capability building, and succession planning, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and inclusion.

  • Deep understanding of the UK & Ireland logistics market
