About the role
- Own all commercial and sales activity across the UK & Ireland, delivering sustainable growth across volume, revenue, and profitability.
- Define and execute an integrated, data-led sales strategy with full P&L ownership, strong execution discipline, and clear performance governance.
- Build senior, trusted customer relationships through consultative, value-based selling.
- Use market and customer insight to shape differentiated propositions, improve customer experience, and represent Maersk in complex negotiations.
- Anticipate industry, regulatory, and geopolitical shifts to guide strategy and influence product and solution priorities.
- Partner effectively with regional and global stakeholders across a complex matrix organisation.
- Build and develop a high-performing, future-ready sales organisation through coaching, capability building, and succession planning, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and inclusion.
Requirements
- Senior commercial or sales leadership experience in complex environments
- Proven success leading large sales organisations through transformation
- Strong strategic selling, negotiation, and execution capability
- Deep understanding of the UK & Ireland logistics market
- Credibility at C-suite level and effectiveness in a global matrix
