About the role

  • Proactively work with your assigned Portfolio to effectively manage and reduce technical cyber debt (“issues”), using a prioritised approach to lower the likelihood or impact of a cyber-attack.
  • Identification and reporting of new issues and potential risks.
  • Provide technical SME knowledge in support of ongoing risk assessments and development of mitigation plans as required by the relevant risk manager.
  • Provide ‘first line’ support for Portfolios to consume ‘self-service’ cyber solutions or services (including threat modelling, high-level solution assessments and facilitation of security testing).
  • Supporting our security operations team in response to cyber incidents, providing technical knowledge and coordinating technical SMEs within the affected Portfolio.
  • Supporting responses to customers' technical queries about systems and technologies within the short time frames of the sales lifecycle.
  • Evangelise secure by design, zero trust principals and cyber risk in all interactions with Portfolio technical teams.

Requirements

  • A passionate security professional keen to use their technical skills to make a difference in a global, complex and challenging environment.
  • You are not expected to be an expert, but the role requires technical insight (CompTIA Security/CASP+ or equivalent an advantage).
  • Experience of working effectively in an agile environment, confidence with tools such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Excellent organisation, time management, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Resilient, can-do attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and able to be understood by both technical and nontechnical personnel.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work with & build relationships with technical counterparts in global teams.
