About the role
- Identify and win new customers with regular Air and LCL volumes
- Build a strong pipeline through proactive lead generation using sales tools, networks, and market insights
- Leverage relevant value propositions to sell tailored Air/LCL solutions
- Prepare spot quotes and support larger RFQ opportunities
- Collaborate closely with local product teams to ensure competitive pricing and volume growth
- Successfully onboard new accounts and accelerate volume conversion
- Cross-sell and upsell complementary services such as Customs and Haulage
- Drive new business on strategic trade lanes aligned with asset optimization
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations and customer service
- Transfer strategic accounts to key account teams when required, ensuring a seamless customer experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in airfreight sales
- A strong hunter mindset with transactional sales skills
- Solid market and industry knowledge
- Highly driven and results-oriented approach
- Confidence in cold outreach and negotiations
