About the role

  • Coordinate the strategy, backlog, and roadmap for the area's AI initiatives.
  • Lead technical teams on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, computer vision, and AI-based automation projects.
  • Ensure quality, governance, security, and compliance of solutions, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulations.
  • Prioritize requests with stakeholders, translating business needs into clear technical requirements.
  • Define performance metrics, monitoring, and continuous improvement processes for models (MLOps).
  • Manage the full lifecycle of AI models: design, development, validation, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Evaluate and recommend AI and data technologies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Support strategic decisions through advanced analytics and responsible AI use.
  • Develop people, promote technical training, and foster a data-driven culture.
  • Ensure alignment among Data, Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Governance teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Specialization or MBA in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, or related subjects.
  • Proficiency in Machine Learning techniques (supervised and unsupervised).
  • Experience with APIs, microservices, and deploying models to production.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative applications.
  • Experience with advanced architectures (RAG, embeddings, multi-agent systems, workflows).
  • Strong knowledge of Deep Learning (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers).
  • Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Experience with MLOps pipelines and model versioning (MLflow, Kubeflow, Azure ML, SageMaker, Vertex AI).
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Understanding of Data Engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience with model monitoring and control tools.
  • Knowledge of best practices for security, privacy, and responsible AI.
