Customer Support

• Supervise visits in the client home, community during the evenings (2pm-8pm) and weekends.
• Provide engaging parenting skills assistance, help to strengthen a family’s bond.
• Offer in-the-moment redirection and parent coaching to promote safe reunification.
• Advocate for families, setting goals with assistance from caseworkers.
• Document progress, report any concerns of alleged abuse/neglect.
• Possibly testify in court as needed.

Family Support Specialist – PT

Administration

• Greet and assist visitors, families, and clients in a welcoming and professional manner
• Review, edit, and prepare documentation for submission to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)
• Manage front desk operations, including phone calls, emails, and general correspondence
• Maintain accurate records, files, and databases with strict confidentiality
• Review, organize, and edit internal documentation and communications
• Support scheduling, calendars, and coordination of office activities
• Monitor office supply inventory and place orders as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment

Office Administrator

• Support Family Goals: Work closely with families and the Department of Health and Human Services to help them reach goals set by their caseworker.
• Visit Facilitation & Transport: Facilitate visitations between children and their families, providing safe and reliable transportation to and from visits.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and unbiased reports of each visit.
• Resource Assistance: Help families find and apply for resources that support their path to reunification and well-being.

• Provide immediate therapeutic support and crisis intervention to families
• Facilitate therapy sessions in family homes and via Telehealth platforms
• Conduct assessments to evaluate risks, needs, and strengths
• Develop tailored service plans to support family stability and reunification
• Collaborate with social workers, case managers, and community providers for holistic care
• Track progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
• Advocate for the rights and well-being of the families you serve
• Maintain clear, accurate records in line with program requirements
