About the role
- Oversee all aspects of multiple construction projects from inception to completion
- Review project updates and progress reports
- Engage with stakeholders to provide clear updates while facilitating effective decision-making
- Direct general contractors, engineers, architects, and vendors to complete construction projects
- Cooperate with environmental consultant to ensure compliance with laws
- Assess project performance through Key Performance Indicators
- Facilitate site survey and prepare scope of work
- Financial accountability for estimates, budget development, change orders, and project closeout
- Lead permitting and assist in negotiations with regulatory bodies
- Provide field oversight during the execution phase
- Ensure that vendors deliver work meeting duration and quality targets
Requirements
- Operational experience in c-store, fueling, or quick service restaurant
- Understanding of accessibility and life safety laws and how they apply
- Expertise in installing and maintaining retail (UST) fueling systems
- Working knowledge of refrigeration equipment, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
- Bachelor's Degree or High School diploma/GED with equivalent experience or 4 + years of US military experience
