About the role
- Provide on demand technical support to customers including afterhours phone support
- Assist in the repair of diagnostic imaging equipment
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance that includes calibrations and verifications of system specifications
- Learn and gain knowledge of imaging equipment in order to perform preventative maintenance on machines
- Accurately document all service activities in accordance with the Company Quality Standards
- Submit field service reports timely and according to functional standards
- Communicate with account manager on services
- Build a working bond between the customer and the company
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, electronic engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience as a Service Engineer
- Technical background and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
- Experience with CT/MRI
- Servicing and troubleshooting MRI and CT systems
- Knowledge of Siemens, GE, and Phillips systems.
