About the role
- Perform accounting operations for revenue and accounts receivable
- Handle accounts payable processes
- Review monthly accounting activity from Mexico team
- Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation
- Drive continuous improvements in financial close processes
- Serve as the primary accounting lead with external CPA firms
- Build and maintain Excel workbooks for reconciliations
- Manage bi-weekly payroll inputs and onboarding new hires
- Manage corporate credit card accounts and employee expense reporting
Requirements
- High integrity, able to handle confidential information with discretion
- Solid experience with Microsoft Excel
- 3+ years of experience working in QuickBooks
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of accrual and cash-basis accounting
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred
- An accounting degree or a CPA are a plus
