About the role
- Monitor rental payments and ensure tenants are up to date
- Track property-related expenses and categorize them properly
- Maintain inventory of purchased items for each property or project
- Assist with advertising and posting rental listings on social media
- Communicate via email or text with vendors, including Spanish-speaking vendors using translation tools if needed
- Assist in setting up a bookkeeping system using QuickBooks Online or Xero
- Categorize transactions, track income and expenses, and help ensure books are accurate and up to date
- Generate monthly reports, including account reconciliation and summaries for the client to review
- Manage and coordinate an extensive schedule of doctor appointments and ongoing medical treatments
- Provide reminders and help the client stay organized, especially considering limited physical mobility
- Support personal family administration tasks, schedules, and event reminders
Requirements
- Experience in bookkeeping (1–4 years for junior role; client also open to senior-level)
- Candidates must be based in Asia
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or Xero is required
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information securely
- Comfortable communicating with vendors and tenants through email/text
- Ability to use Google Translate or similar tools for simple Spanish-language communication when needed
- Willingness to post content on social media platforms using templates and materials provided by the client
